Update: I believe everybody knows where to get the ticket already by this stage. Can even buy it at the tournament venue. With the quite-steep costs, I think it won’t be full-house, judging from Malaysia Open last time at the same venue.

Don’t think there will be any local players, due to the event being only for those who made the finals.

But for events like the Malaysian Open, I think they let top Sabahans play in the qualifying rounds, although they usually get thrashed.

interesting event, gotta have a plan for this one – its gonna be big crowds. erm ada Sabah player yang akan beraksi kah tu nanti ar?? ^.^ maybe just to spark more motivation to our local players kan.

I lost a little interest at Uni too, because after a certain level I was playing against much better opponents and got thrashed – and got demotivated haha.

But my interest was somewhat rejuvenated when I was in Japan in 2000 because it felt like I was representing Malaysia, and we defeated people from various countries including China and Indonesia. We won one tournament and was runner-up in another, lost to a Japanese pair :-)

And I will always try to make the JPKN badminton team as long as I am able – so far we’re the only JPKN team to bring home a medal in the ongoing MOF Sports Carnival!!!
