yes, among the most remembered about turns was Datuk Yahya Lampong - declared that he joined Bersekutu in the march 1999 sabah election and subsequently datuk harris offered him to contest in Kuala Penyu - but barely 24 hours later he rejoined UMNO saying “it was a mistake”….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! leaving datuk harris mouth wide opened!!!!!

lajim and hassan alban sandukong declared “we will never leave pbs”… and even sandukong said i will be the first one to jump from the top of yayasan sabah building if i ever leave PBS - but he did left pbs later and nobody jumped from yayasan sabah building except the participants of KL tower base jumpers….

and many many more lagi lahh…. aiyaaaaaaaaaaaa

What do you think is the most astonishing political about-turn in Sabah’s history?

Is it:

(i) Tun Mustapha joining PBS in 1994 was it?
(ii) SEDCO chairman’s 1-day support of Bersekutu (UMNO-Bersekutu-Umno) in 1999?
(iii) Lajim’s big headline in Borneo Mail saying “I will never leave PBS” after the 1994 state elections, then 2 weeks later really left?

Many BN leaders had wished Pak Lah to resign as PM and hand over the armband to Najib. The latest one is Muhyidin. He said the transition plan is too long. He wanted it to be done sooner so that Najib will have enough time to improvise UMNO and BN. I think Pak Lah’s days as PM is being counted now. There are big possibilty that power transition will definately happen this year in two possibilities :
i) Najib become PM
ii)PR topples BN and DSAI become the next premier.
