    Unmissable photo opportunity with YB Khairy Jamaluddin

    On the afternoon of 2nd May, before the Malaysian Press Awards later on the same day, my brother had the rare opportunity to pay a visit to the office of *the* son-in-law, the deputy chief of UMNO Youth, the Member of Parliament for Rembau, and the man prominent blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin called “the most powerful man in Malaysia” in 2005.

    In fact, according to Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, president of Sabah Journalists’ Association, who headed the delegation, it was YB Khairy Jamaluddin, 32 himself who wanted to meet them, not the other way round as is usually the case. In fact, it is not easy to get an appointment with him, as even Menteris Besar and Chief Ministers are always seeking his appointment.

    After a very interesting 30-minute chat in his Manchester United paraphernalia-laden office, during which he impressed with his friendly demeanour and detailed knowledge of the goings-on on the ground in Sabah, they had time to take this one and only photo:

    BUT HE IS VERY VERY GOOD WHEN ENTERTAINING GUESTS LIKE THE 3 SABAHANS ABOVE…. HE WAS KIND… SPOKE SLOWLY AND WAS READY TO MEET THE 3 ABOVE EVEN TOUGH HE WAS JUST COME BACK FROM MEKAH………….
