Christmas Day activity roundup
December 27th, 2007On Christmas Day there will be so many invitations and open houses that by the end of the day, you’ll be so full you could hardly think straight.
In the afternoon, I went to 3 open houses, including the Ongkili open house, hosted by Dr Jimmy Ongkili. Patricia Raymond, the 2002 Unduk Ngadau was there too:

A friendly local posing for photos with 3 singing guests:

Papier Mache and a bamboo orchestra played live music.
Here’s the the band, first backing Jasper on “O Holy Night”:
Here are they again, backing Jasper on The Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There.” I think this has been Jasper’s “lagu wajib” for more than 20 years already. This video is quite interesting due to the presence of a “senior backing vocalist” and at the very end, someone called The Communist actually doing a little jig:
In the evening, we had a 3-table Christmas-cum-family-cum-birthday dinner with special guests from Italy:

At the house, stacks of presents by the self-made-crib and the tree:

… Of course, I haven’t mentioned that Christmas sale yet …
