Unmissable photo opportunity with Ahmad Dhani of Dewa 19
December 19th, 2007At the end of Dewa 19’s press conference on the 14th of December (the day before their concert at Stadium Likas, Kota Kinabalu) those present were given an opportunity to take photos with them. First was the staff of Celcom, the main sponsor of their tour. Then it was the staff of Magellan Sutera, where Dewa 19’s entourage stayed during their 2-night sojourn in Sabah. Finally, it was members of the media, where I joined in. After that, it was a chaotic mess as everybody else wanted a piece of the band.

Later the band ate their dinner next door, but not before being hounded by more fans waiting outside. Yuke (the bassist), after doing autographs, was the last to go inside.
Outside, I had a short chat with Aja, the bassist of Jiaja.

If that guy lost the pics again just like what happened in August 2004 (Amy Search) we shall never forgive him. And as you said, he was smashed a few hours later at Le Meridien, so the risk is definitely there.
I was standing next to Ahmad Dhani when the Beijing Baladewa took a few pics.

ETC ETC ETC
According to Dewa’s website, Ahmad Dhani is 5′11″ (180cm) tall.
