AHMD DHANI IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE GREATEST ARTIST, SONG WRITER AND SINGER IN INDONESIA….BUT AHMAD DHANI NEED TO IMPROVE HIS GENERAL KNOWLEDGE.. HOW COME DURING THE PRESS CONFERENCE A DAY BEFORE THE CONCERT AT MAGGELAN SUTERA, HE MENTIONED THAT ONLY NOW HE KNEW SABAH IS AT THE TIP OF KALIMANTAN????? APA MACAM BOSSS? BELUM LAGI TANYA DIA SOALAN SIAPAKAN PRESIDEN PERTAMA AFRIKA SELATAN, APAKAH NAMA GUNUNG DI CAPE TOWN, APAKAH NAMA BINI KEDUA PRINCE CHARLES, SIAPAKAH YANG MENEMBAK RONALD REAGEN, SIAPAKAH YANG MENJADIKAN PLAYBOY FAMOUS BLA BLA BLA….. MUNGKIN KOK SI AHMD BELUM MINUM GINSENG DONG….

I don’t think the crowd had had enough of them at least judging from the reaction of the Indonesian crowd on the right of stage. They were doing “interesting dances” with their shirts off and at least one guy with huge (I mean REALLY humongous) chains on his trousers got checked out by 2 burly FRUs. I don’t know how those pieces of metal were allowed into the stadium in the first place. It definitely can be used as a deadly weapon.

The encore would’ve surely have happened only if the crowd didn’t back off straight away.

Ya…it’s funny though a concert with such a momentum ended up with no encore. If it is a trick by Dewa they’re either laughing backstage cos their trick works or a bit disappointed as the crowds have had enough of them..:)

There were many people holding handphones taking photos/videos, so I suppose they allow it. Even people can be seen smoking inside the stadium, even though everybody was screened for possible weapons including lighters.

even if the organisers allow us to record the song and video, the content (performance) is still copyrighted. if we distribute it, we would get ourself into trouble. however, they usually keep one eye close if the fans share it. unless u mass produce it and sell it for profit. it’s up 2 them whether they want to take legal action.

That’s one thing I forgot to mention. By right any capturing (video or audio) device is not allowed in any concert. The higher the stature of the band, the more this is stressed. But bootlegs of ANY band have been in existence since forever.

For this concert the media was only allowed to video the first 2 songs. But even the organisers conceded that it’s impossible to enforce this. In the mosh pit, right in front, I can see many many many handphones being used to take pics / take video.

I did not use a big videocam - only a 1 CCD consumer-level DVcam, but nobody so much as batted an eyelid as I took videos right till the end of the concert.
