Awie’s “Tragedi Oktober” [unrecognisable version ;-)]

    November 24th, 2007

This is either a clever twist or a tragic cover of that nationally well-known song, something that makes you either stunned in disbelief or weep in laughter.

Sung by an unknown person, recorded by yours truly in a nightspot in a sleepy town somewhere in Sabah, sometime last year.

I’ve also put in Awie’s unplugged performance of the same song.

Enjoy the differences in performances …

Ha, haven’t heard such entertaining karaoke like that for ages! Reminded me of the times when I was working in Keningau and hanging out with friends at places where tipsy men thought they are Awie!

By the way, this is an Awie/Search song right?

Yes, this is none other than Awie’s (ex Wings) 90s megahit Tragedi Oktober.
