It’s inevitable. Once it was officially announced, I started getting a barrage of irreverent jokes on the upcoming wedding. Teasing for any groom-to-be is normal, even for a Prime Minister, but the following could be a little bit too much:

Dr M’s mega project: KLIA, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Monorail, ERL, KTM Komuter, KL Tower, KLCC & many more while Pak Lah’s mega project since becoming PM: tol naik, petrol naik, rokok naik, bir naik, tepung naik, gula naik, diesel naik, gaji kakitangan awam naik and latest… batang naik.
Datuk K pakai kereta baru Honda City, Datuk Affendi pakai Second Hand Tiara, tak sangka pula Pak Lah suka pakai Second Hand Gen 2.

Every Malaysian thought that PM will be announcing the forthcoming ELECTION but instead he announced his forthcoming ERECTION!
Another twist of the same joke:
Every Malaysian is anxious to know whether there will be any ELECTION by the end of the year but right now every Malaysian is anxious to know whether there will be any ERECTION this weekend.
