Personal income tax: e-filing for year of assessment (tahun taksiran) 2006
March 2nd, 2007I did my e-filing with LHDN last year, so let’s see how it goes this year. As they promised in an earlier email answer to my enquiry back in January, the e-forms were made available on 1st March 2007.
They say their system do not work with Firefox. So this is one of those rare cases where I had to use IE to do work.
Their digital certificate issued by Digicert Sdn Bhd as usual gave problems. I used a different notebook this time, so all the security warnings came up, as I have not explicitly trusted the certs. Had to manually approve Digicert’s cert.
LHDN will not send the hardcopy forms to those who used e-filing last year. No wonder mine never turned up this year.
Once all that is done a nice surprise awaited me. There’s no more of that cumbersome interactive PDF forms, this time it’s all web based.
One question: how do I see the e-forms I filled in for year of assessment 2005?
